Back to school is a happy and exciting time at our house.  After a summer packed full of (what sure seemed like!) non-stop travel and adventure, I find by this time of year, I’m ready to settle back in.  September also signals the start of my very busy fall portrait season (a friendly reminder to book your session now before they are gone) and having a normal routine (i.e. child-free work time) is imperative to my productivity (and sanity!)

This is an especially exciting year because my son is entering his very first year in full day school.  Move over 1st grade, he has arrived!

With a big sister rockin’ 4th grade down the hall, these two are ready to rule the school.
